It’s been a really crazy and busy year. I haven’t been able to blacksmith anything, although I have started rebuilding the new forge. I’ve stalled at coating the firebricks with refractory cement due to bad weather, and life getting in the way.
I have 3D printed a few things, and worked on my Raspberry Pi projects, when laid up, or stuck inside. Nothing much to report there. I made my RPi Camera much smaller, and I’ve been working on some Tandy-100 style designs, but that’s about it.
On the gardening front, 3 of 4 of my grape plant clusters have fruit for the first time! They’re just tiny bunches, one as small as 4 grapes, but I wasn’t expecting much results for the first few years. Mostly, I’m just training them up the trellis.
I’ll be laid up from surgery for much of the remaining year, and then it’s winter, so I’m not expecting much to go on till spring.
