Since way back when, I have always wanted a Tandy Model 100 computer. See, I grew up with a Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer, Model 1. That is where I learned to program, copying program code by hand from a magazine, typing it in on the painful chicklet keyboard. 😄 But thanks to that 8bit computer, I have been in tech and programming, ever since.

One year, not that long ago, I did finally get my Model 100. But then something happened, and it died. Probably from the batteries that leaked. 😑 I did find a Model 102, and have added in a drop-in memory mod, that expands the total storage capacity, by switching between separate, distinct memory pages on the expansion board.

Then a couple years later, I thought, “I want to make a Raspberry Pi version”. After much headache with the designing, I have my own, 3D designed and printed, Bunny TandyPi 100!

Tho, maybe I should call it the 102, as I ended up modifying it a bit, and replacing the RPi Zero 2W with a faster and more capable Radxa Zero 3W. This let me move from an entirely console experience, to being able to do either Console or GUI.

Here’s a view of my Bunny TandyPi 100 and my Tandy Model 101.
